WHO WE ARE

Pamela and Melissa are sisters who grew up in Kentucky and ended up working in the medical field and living in different states, a few hundred miles apart.  One day, while visiting, we went to a small town's jewelry store and thought the handcrafted jewelry he was selling was really cool!  We asked the store owner a lot of questions and he told us that we need to go to the lapidary school in Georgia.  We went home, looked it up, and the rest is history.  Now, after years of learning, lots of weeks of classes, and lots of craft shows and art fairs, we are offering our beautiful creations to you online!

ABOUT OUR JEWELRY

Contact

Every item on this site is hand-crafted by either Pamela or Melissa.  We use very high quality supplies and materials for every piece.  Our cabochons are natural stones and may have smaller beads as accents or embellishments.  These smaller beads will be Czech crystal, glass, Swarovski pearls, or metal.  Faceted stones in our creations will be natural, cut stones, cubic zirconia, or lab created, and will be described clearly in the listing.

Our metals used are 0.925 Sterling Silver, Copper, Bronze, and 14K gold-filled wire.

Sterling Silver wire is 92.5% silver.  It will tarnish over time but can be easily polished with commercial jewelry cleaner or polishing cloths.

Copper wire starts off nice and shiny  but will develop a patina over time.  It can be allowed to age naturally or it can be cleaned and polished to keep it bright and shiny if you don't like that appearance.

Bronze wire comes shiny and appears a soft gold color.  It is an excellent alternative to gold, being much less expensive.  It will darken with age and some customers prefer the aged look.  If you don't like it, polish it back up using a polish of baking soda and lemon juice!

14K gold-filled wire is not the same as gold plated.  It has a 14K gold layer permanently bonded to the base metal, and this gold layer is 100x thicker than what you would have in plated metal.  Gold-filled wire is flexible for us to work with but will hold up to years of wear and cleaning!
